About me

My name is Leigh Huthwaite and I am mother to one son.  In the past, I spent 21 years working for a large corporate organisation.  Whilst this had clear perks there were also definite drawbacks so in April 2008 we moved to The Vines, www.thevinesbedandbreakfast.co.uk where my hypnotherapy practice is based.  It was one of the most enlightening moves I have made and spurred me on to leave the corporate world behind and to start to work with individuals where I could really make a difference.  I wanted to improve the quality of my life and to help others in a variety of ways at the same time.

I studied NLP to Master Practitioner level and use this where appropriate within Hypnotherapy.  It’s the ‘icing on the cake’ as far as I am concerned.  NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming ) is the study of the structure of subjective experience, in reality that means the way we communicate with ourselves and with others and can have some really positive benefits for individuals. As I came towards the end of my NLP training I became curious to learn more about hypnotherapy and the benefits that the two combined can bring.....and this lead me to qualify as hypnotherapist.  I am registered with the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council and on the General Hypnotherapy Register.

Hypnotherapy is in fact extremely relaxing. There is always some trepeditation when clients first arrive for their initial consultation.  I provide a safe, non-judgemental environment and explain what hypnotherapy is and isn’t and this first half an hour consultation is free.  Its really important that the client feels comfortable and relaxed for hypnotherapy to be at its most effective.

As the initial consultation of half-an-hour is free, you have nothing to lose in finding out more. It could change your life too and make a real difference.
