I specialise in Weight Management, Stopping Smoking, Self Confidence and Stress. To me these are all potential indirectly linked, we feel stressed so we eat or smoke more.  If our self confidence suffers then we may perhaps find refuge again in over eating or smoking. Hypnotherapy works with the subconscious mind and I work closely with clients to work out the habits and reasons why they do what they do, then put together a package to help them reach their end goals.  Its very much a partnership.  Each initial session in each area of specialism includes a copy of the session for the client to listen to.  Please note I do not charge extra for weekend or evening appointments.

Weight Management

Hypnosis can help by allowing you to work with, and overcome obstacles which prevent you from losing weight and from keeping weight off after a successful diet. You will be well aware that eating too much is not really what you want and you know that exercise and a sensible diet are important. However, these are not conscious, logical issues. Successful weight loss is as much about re-educating your mind to work and think differently. Clients who seek help with weight management have usually tried most forms of diet at some time or other.  Whilst hypnosis is not magic it can help if the client is well motivated.  


The initial session (after the free consultation) is from £50.00 which includes a recording of each session for the client to play back to reinforce the positive messages.  I currently am offering 6 sessions for the price of 5, please contact me for further details.   I see clients on a weekly basis for the first six weeks to ensure that they are on track. I then move the sessions to bi-weekly if both the client and I agree that this is an acceptable way forward.  I also offer group weight therapy sessions.  Please ask for more details.

Stop Smoking

There are two types of smokers, habit smokers and compulsive smokers.  We are all aware of the statistics of what smoking can do to us and I am really keen to help clients to stop and very importantly stay stopped.  The client must be very motivated to stop in order for this to work. I offer up to two sessions for smoking cessation depending on the level of nicotine addiction that the client has.  The total cost for the two sessions is from £150.00.  I also provide ongoing support as and when required.

Confidence

This is a very common area where individuals feel they lack this particular quality. Our self confidence can be knocked by a variety of attitudes and experiences during our lives and it’s really important that this doesn’t shape our view of ourselves as we become older. Unfortunately our ‘self-talk’ can do little to help and in fact can impede our ability to move on and increase this area which can be important in a variety of situations we may face in our lives, taking more responsibility at work, giving presentations, giving feedback to family/friends/colleagues.  The list is endless. Hypnotherapy can help you to uncover the reasons why we think as we do and re-address the experience and re frame it in another light. I offer up to two sessions for smoking cessation depending on the level of nicotine addiction that the client has.  The charge is from £50.00 per hour.  It will be very much dependent on the clients requirements as to how many sessions would be required..  

Improving sports performance

Using hypnotherapy sports performance sessions can help you achieve the results you want in the fastest possible time by using a combination of hypnosis and NLP. These techniques can help you ensure that every practice or workout is your best by reprogramming your mind to achieve exactly what you want.  




This can be achieved by: 
  • Increasing your motivation and determination to stick to a routine

  • Focussing on success, acting ‘as if’ you have been succesful 
  • Easing anxiety prior to an event or important competition; 
  • Overcoming mental block and barriers by reducing negative small talk 
  • Reinforcing self-belief and positive thinking 
With our sports performance sessions we work on the mental game of sport, increasing your focus, motivation and positivity both before, during and after sport unlike a lot of other sports coaches who focus purely just on the time spent during sport. We believe the attitude you bring to the game, during the game and after, all play equally important roles in achieving your desired results.

Our clients have included professional, amateur and weekend athletes all of whom wanted to overcome some limitation and ensure that they performed at their best. Anyone can learn the simple techniques required to achieve these results such as mental imagery, future rehearsal of success and focussing on strategy. Sports performance hypnotherapy can be used to enhance your performance for any sport including Golf, Football, Rugby, Tennis and Running, amongst others.  This is not an exhaustive list. 

Studies have shown that when the body mentally rehearses any movement the muscles have to make tiny micro movements, this enables the body to learn how to move and perform at its best during actual play by really getting the action into the muscles. Many professional athletes also use mental rehearsal to practice their game when they are unable to play due to injury.  This keeps them focussed and in the zone. I charge from £50 per hour for sporting performance.  Again the number of sessions required would be dependent on the client and their personal requirements.
